The USMLE Step 2 CS is a challenging exam which many examinees underestimate. Therefore quite a lot of them fail on their first attempt. That's a pity!
Failing means you have to pay all the expensive fees again, go through the whole application process again and have to worry about accomodation and possibly flights again. In total this will cost you at least $ 2.000, usually more than $ 3.000.
Most people fail due to poor ICE (Integrated Clinical Encounter) or CIS (Communication and Interpersonal Skills) scores, not because of their Spoken English Proficiency. There are many books which focus on the patient encounter itself which will show you how to push your CIS component to a higher level, but a huge part of a successful Step 2 CS preparation is missing: a good overview of the Differential Diagnoses as well as a smart organization of the Blue Sheet and the most important Mnemonics which will help you to also succeed in the ICE component of your exam!
So if you want to be sure to be well prepared for Step 2 CS as a whole, you should focus on doing cases with a standardized patient AND repeat the possible Differential Diagnoses. The latter will be really time-consuming as there are no books or programs which tell you what to specifically do for each one.
THIS IS WHAT I DID FOR YOU!
I've put lots of time and effort in creating a Booster, so that you will get the most out of it:
This includes the most important as well as the most commonly tested Differential Diagnoses, including the exams to perform during the encounter and the tests to order for each one.
I know many doctors who failed the USMLE Step 2 CS exam, because they relied on their experience and underestimated the challenge of treating cases which they don't see in their daily routine, e.g. an experienced gynecologist who faces a patient with a red eye during the exam.
My goal was to provide the perfect USMLE Step 2 CS preparation for all types of examinees, no matter if they're students or working doctors. The USMLE Step 2 CS Booster will give you a complete overview of the common cases, so that the possibly forgotten knowledge will be reactivated quickly.
Check out the USMLE Step 2 CS Booster on facebook. I'm trying my very best to deliver
high quality USMLE Step 2 CS exam content every single day.
